Hi everyone! As an editor of the Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia, I just wanted to point out that it is displayed in two scripts—Latin and Cyrillic—using the LanguageConverter. Therefore, I believe the label "Srpskohrvatski" should be changed to "Srpskohrvatski/Српскохрватски," with both words capitalized and no spaces before and after the slash. Thank you for considering my request! – Aca (talk) 11:23, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
- We do seem to have a wiki with two scripts (:nan:) currently in this list. That feels a bit like it shouldn't be like that however as it gives a bit of undue attention to the one specific wiki.... Izno (talk) 21:55, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Izno: If so, I would support standardizing the label in the primary/prevalent script of the Wikimedia project. That would mean the Uzbek Wikipedia label should be changed to "Oʻzbekcha" to not give undue attention. – Aca (talk) 08:45, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
Done Well, that was annoying. The multi-script versions are coming from MediaWiki. :( Izno (talk) 23:21, 28 September 2024 (UTC)

Hello, Mazandarani (mzn) Wikipedia has more than 50,000 articles. Please add mzn to the 50,000+ list. Thanks. Ταπυροι (گپ) 11:47, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- I have reservations about this, atleast 32,917 articles of that 50,000 atricles are bot generated. Sohom (talk) 16:34, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the
{{Edit protected}}
template. The prevailing practice is not to list Wikipedias where the content is substantially bot-created. arcticocean ■ 09:38, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello, apologies if this is incorrect, I am not entirely familiar with how Wikipedia operates, but according to meta.wikimedia's List of Wikipedias and et.wikipedia's et:Special:Statistics, Estonian Wikipedia has 250,272 articles. Could Estonian Wikipedia be moved to the 250 000 article section? EestiEnthusiast (talk) 14:33, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- Seconded, it now has over 251,000 articles. 164.10.46.62 (talk) 15:24, 11 March 2025 (UTC)

Can't edit interlanguage link
[edit]Hey! I just created the article about Cantonese on Basque Wikipedia but it's not linked to the rest of Wikipedias. I was about to do it, but I see that this article is semi-protected and I can't edit it. Could someone help me, please? Thanks! Makecab1 (talk) 15:54, 28 March 2025 (UTC)

Description of suggested change:
Hi everyone! so i just noticed that there are a lot of languages missing on this list, most notably the Cebuano Wikipedia which has over 6 million articles making it the second largest wikipedia.
the next example is the Waray Wikipedia which has 1,26 million articles, which is ranked as the 16th largest wikipedia.
according to my research there are over 42 languages that were supposed to be on this list, but are missing.
Thank you for considering my request!

- The Cebuano and Waray Wikipedias are deliberately excluded because they're Lsjbot dumps with no substantive human-generated content. * Pppery * it has begun... 14:16, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Pppery: Then i guess there are 40 languages instead of 42 missing.
the languages that are missing in this list are :
Egyptian Arabic Wikipedia, Chechen Wikipedia, Tatar Wikipedia, Minnan Wikipedia, Welsh Wikipedia, Ladin Wikipedia, Tamil Wikipedia, Hindi Wikipedia, Cantonese Wikipedia, Latin Wikipedia, Afrikaans Wikipedia, Tajik Wikipedia, Marathi Wikipedia, Malagasy Wikipedia, Swahili Wikipedia, Occitan Wikipedia, Belarussian Wikipedia, Breton Wikipedia, Low German Wikipedia, Lombard Wikipedia, Kyrgyz Wikipedia, Javanese Wikipedia, Western Punjabi Wikipedia, Newari Wikipedia, Haitian Creole Wikipedia, Piedmontese Wikipedia, Venetian Wikipedia, Luxembourgish Wikipedia, Bashkir Wikipedia, Sundanese Wikipedia, Irish Wikipedia, Icelandic Wikipedia, Silesian Wikipedia, Chuvash Wikipedia, Hausa Wikipedia, Mazanderani Wikipedia
and last but not least : The Ido Wikipedia - also the Greek Wikipedia is located at the 50,000+ article column even though it has 251,513, so in my opinion it should be placed on the 250,000+ article column.
𝕸𝖆𝖑𝖇𝖔𝖗𝖐𝕳𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖎𝖆𝖓𝕿𝖆𝖑𝖐 14:50, 24 April 2025 (UTC)- And, for example, the Hindi Wikipedia is also deliberately excluded per a series of discussions, most recently Template talk:Wikipedia languages/Archive 6#Edit request 30 August 2023 as are some others. Some of these probably should be added but nobody here is going to review dozens of these requests at once ... * Pppery * it has begun... 15:01, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
